|Day 1: Arrival to Hanoi|
Arrive to Hanoi on late evening, a famous city for the name of the mythical ascending dragon. Meet your guide and transfer to direct to hotel for check-in. Dinner by your own. At leisure and O/N at hotel in Hanoi.
|Day 2: Hanoi – Chuong & Van Phuc hand-made villages (Breakfast)|
Breakfast at hotel. Depart to Chuong (bell casting village, using for all pagodas) & Van Phuc (weave fabric village) traditional hand-made villages for visiting. Late afternoon return to Hanoi. Lunch & Dinner by your own. Evening: enjoy the famous water puppet show. O/N in Hanoi.
|Day 3: Hanoi – City tour – Laocai – Overnight on train (Breakfast)|
Breakfast at hotel. City tour Hanoi and visit: the Hochiminh’s mausoleum, One Pillar Pagoda that looks like a lotus flower; the mythical Sword lake, bustling 36 streets quarter. Walk into Ngoc Son Temple before driving to the Temple of Literature, then the last attractive place is Art Museum. Lunch & Dinner by your own. At leisure until transfer to the Hanoi Railway Station for catching the night train to Laocai. Spend the night on PRIVATE BUSINESS cabin on KING EXPRESS Train (cabin for 2 with wooden floor and air-con).
|Day 4: Sapa – Bac Ha ethnic market – Sapa (Breakfast)|
Early morning arrive to Laocai station, Laocai is bordering of China in the far Northwest, the place to see some of Vietnam’s colourful hill tribes, in particular H’mong and Dao. After then transfer to Bac Ha for visiting the colourful Bac Ha ethnic market (open on every Sunday). You will then visit the huge market with its colourful array of ethnic minority people such as Flower Hmong, Phu La, Black Dao, Tay, and Nung who gather to buy and sell. After spending the whole morning exploring the market.
After then continue your program by visiting Ban Pho village of Flower Hmong and Nung minorities, which is nearby Bac Ha. The villagers grow vegetables and fruit trees. One of the most famous fruit of the area is plum. Then visit a local house, where you might have chance to taste a cup of corn wine, another famous product of the village. Then drive to Sapa town for hotel check-in. At leisure. At the end of the week we can see the H’mong, Dao and other ethnic minorities trek into town from the surrounding countryside to trade goods at the weekend markets in Sapa. There, they sell silver jeweler, traditional embroidered fabrics and authentic articles of hill tribe clothing at the markets. Lunch & Dinner by your own. Discovery night in Sapa.
|Day 5: Sapa – Tram Ton – Sin Chai Villages – Sapa (Breakfast)|
Breakfast at hotel. Meet our local guide and driver then transferred towards the Silver Waterfall. After taking a short walk to the waterfall, we continue our drive to the Heaven Gate of Tram Ton which can be considered as the highest peak of roads in Vietnam. Enjoy the marvellous views of Fansipan from the Gate, the highest peak of Indochina.
Then we start our walking trip by going downhill a dirt trail, through bamboo forest of Hoang Lien National Park. Your lunch will be served at a nice spot nearby a river (pinic lunch by your own).
After lunch, we continue our trek to Sin Chai village, where Community Based Tourism in Sapa takes place. Then we visit the village, inhabited by the Black Hmong people, one of the largest group ethnic minorities in Sapa area. In the late afternoon, we will be picked up by our car for the journey back to your hotel in Sapa. Discovery night by yourselves around Sapa town, visit Sapa church and Sapa market.
|Day 6: Lao Chai & Ta Van Hill Tribe villages – Ham Rong – Laocai – On Train (Breakfast)|
Breakfast at hotel. Continue your program by visiting the hill trible villages: Lao Chai & Ta Van. You have chance to make a short trek around the village and communicate with people at Giay minority visit their house. Afternoon, visit Ham Rong mountain for bird-eyes-view the whole Sapa city. At leisure until transfer to Laocai station for catching the night train back to Hanoi. Spend the night on PRIVATE BUSINESS cabin on KING EXPRESS Train (cabin for 2 with wooden floor and air-con). Lunch & Dinner by your own.
|Day 7: Hanoi – Halong Bay – Overnight on HUONG HAI Junk boat (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)|
Arrival to Hanoi in early morning. Meet our Tour Guide at the Hanoi station, then transfer to hotel for re-fresh and having breakfast. At leisure until leave Hanoi by vehicle (250km = 3hrs drive) for Halong Bay. Enjoy the journey through the rich farmlands of the Red River Delta and the scenery of rice fields. Arrive in Halong and board the HUONG HAI Junk for check-in. Check-in between 11h30 to 12h00.
Refreshing cocktail upon boarding.
13.00: Buffet lunch in restaurant.
13.30: A fantastic cruise in Halong Bay, visit islands: Dinh Huong, Ga Choi, Dog, Sail and Sung Sot cave, and a swim at Soi Sim beachor Titov beach.
19.00: Enjoy dinner on board.
21.00: Fishing or relax and spend the night on board the junk.
|Day 8: Halong Bay (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)|
07.00 : Having breakfast.
08.30: Transfer to day trip boat and cruise to the bay’s most untouch areas. Lunch is served on board the day trip boat.
16.00: Cruise back to the HUONG HAI Junk.
19.30: Having dinner and overnight on board.
|Day 9: Halong Bay – Hai Phong – Hanoi (BRUNCH)|
07.00: Have tea - breakfast
08.00: Visit Luon cave on small bamboo boat, then cruise to passby the Man’s head island, Tortoise island
09.00: Arrange luggage and check-out
09.30: Set brunch (breakfast + lunch)
11.30: Arrive to Halong pier. End cruise trip. Meet our Driver & Tour Guide then transfer to Hanoi via Hai Phong province. Then stop for visiting: Trang Kenh communal house & Du Hang temple, the hand-made pottery villages. Continue route to Hanoi. Check-in the hotel on arrival. At leisure time and overnight in Hanoi.
|Day 10: Hanoi – Ninh Binh – “Halong Bay on Land” (Breakfast)|
Breakfast at hotel. Excursion to Hoa Lu, visit Dinh & Le Dynasty temples (968 - 1009) and Phat Diem Cathedral. Take a sampan on a river through the rice paddies to the grottoes of the sacred Tam Coc Caves, known as Vietnam’s “Halong on Land”. Then onwards to the Bich Dong cave pagodas for visiting. Lunch & Dinner by your own. Back to Hanoi on late afternoon. O/N in Hanoi.
|Day 11: Hanoi – Thay Pagoda – Hanoi (Breakfast)|
Breakfast at hotel. Proceed to visiting Thay Pagoda with 18 statues of La Han (18 Arhat’s statues with 18 different faces). Afternoon back to Hanoi. Lunch & Dinner by your own. Your own discovery Hanoi and overnight.
|Day 12: Hanoi - Hue (Breakfast)|
Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to the airport for flight to Hue, was the last imperial capital of Vietnam from 1524 to 1945 and has recently been recognized by UNESCO as a World Cultural Heritage Site. Arrive to Hue, meet our Tour Guide at the airport then transfer to city for hotel check-in (if room available). Then continue your program by taking the boat trip on the Perfume River and visit Thien Mu pagoda built on a hillock overlooking the Perfume River, is one of the most famous structures in all of Vietnam, then Dong Ba market. |Day 13: Hue – City tour – Imperial Citadel (Breakfast)|
Breakfast at hotel. City tour Hue and visit: the Imperial Citadel & the Royal Tombs of Khai Dinh. The Hillside tomb of Emperor Khai Dinh, who ruled from 1916 to 1925, is perhaps symptomatic of the decline of Vietnamese culture during the colonial era. His Tomb was built for 11 years begun from 1920 and completed in 1931. The grandiose concrete structure is completely unlike Hue’s other tombs, being a synthesis of Vietnamese and European elements. The interior of this Royal Tomb is decorated with colourful bits of broken porcelain and glass embedded in cement. Lunch & Dinner by your own. O/N in Hue.
|Day 14: Hue – Danang – Hoian (Breakfast)|
Breakfast at hotel. Leave Hue to Danang by passing the Hai Van Pass, stop-over on the top for short rest and overlooking Lang Co Lagoon. Arrive to Danang, hiking and visiting China Beach, Marble Mountain and then Cham Museum. Then drive straight to Hoi An, the biggest commercial port in the 17th century where merchant ships from Holland, Portugal, Japan, China, came for exchanging trade. Check-in the resort. |Day 15: Hoi An – woodcarving Cam Nam village (Breakfast)|
Breakfast at resort. Hoi An, probably the most delightful town in Vietnam, was a major sea port in the Middle Ages. Untouched in any of the wars, Hoi An retains influences from Chinese, Japanese, French and even Portuguese and British traders who stopped here between China and India. We spend the morning walking to the narrow streets and admiring the architecture and history during the tour and visit: the ancient town for exploring the picturesque centre of town with its restored 18th century merchants’ houses, the ancient houses, Temple Bridge, Phuc Kien Temple. Hoi An also boasts some of the best silk shops, art galeries and handicraft shops in Vietnam as well as dozens of excellent restaurants serving the delicious local specialities. Discovery “Hoi An ancient night – usually open on fullmoon night” with a high light of the tour around small streets bordered by ancient houses, gorgeous temples and an old bridge. |Day 16: Hoian – Danang - Saigon (Breakfast)|
Breakfast at resort. Free at leisure in Hoian for your own shopping until transfer to the airport for flight to Saigon. Arrive to Saigon, the biggest & bustling city with the new name of HoChiMinh City. Meet our Tour Guide and transfer to hotel for check-in. Lunch & Dinner by your own. Free at leisure. Discovery your night in Saigon.
|Day 17: Saigon – Cuchi Tunnels – City tour (Breakfast)|
Breakfast at hotel. Take an excursion to visit the famous Cu Chi Tunnels, an incredible underground tunnel network constructed by Vietnamese resistance fighters during the struggle for independence. On the way back stop at the countryside for photos and visit a rice paper workshop.
Return to Saigon for City tour around the busiest city of Vietnam with its history and culture, you will find many examples of French colonial architecture such as the Notre Dame Cathedral, the Old Saigon Post Office, Ben Thanh Market, Chinatown and Thien Hau Temple,and photo-stop at Reunification Palace. |Day 18: Saigon – Mytho – Mekong Delta boat trip – Cantho (Breakfast)|
Breakfast at hotel. Excursion to My Tho. A full day trip to water world of the Mekong Delta. Take a boat trip along narrow waterways, you will enjoy a cruise on boats and viewing the daily activities of the local people along the Mekong River and taste fresh tropical fruits in the orchards, enjoy honey tea from bee hives with opera renovated or “ca nhac Tai Tu” show. After then continue your program to Can Tho, one of the biggest cities in Mekong Delta. Check-in the resort Victoria Cantho on arrival. Lunch & Dinner by your own. O/N in Cantho.
|Day 19: Can Tho – Cai Rang floating market – Saigon (Breakfast)|
Breakfast at hotel, then transfer to the pier for taking the boat ride on Mekong River which is the longest and most prosperous in Asia, visit the famous floating market Cai Rang, where you can see the daily life and local people selling their products on boats. Then cruising to small canels to visit one of the local family and their orchard, taste tropical fruits, green tea. Finish trip and continue your route to deeper in Mekong Delta area, ChauDoc city, is a riverine commmercial center not far from the Cambodian border. Arrival in Chau Doc, check in the resort Victoria Chaudoc. Tour to the dry land in time to drive up Sam Mountain to watch the sunset over the Cambodian border. Lunch & Dinner by your own. O/N in Chau Doc.
|Day 20: Chau Doc – Saigon (Breakfast)|
AM: Take a boat visit Ca Be Village, where fish are bred in wooden cages suspended under floating houses on the river. Continue by boat to visit the Cham minority where colourful traditional textiles are woven on old wooden looms.
PM: Return to Saigon. Lunch & Dinner by your own. O/N at hotel in Saigon. Overnight in Saigon.
|Day 21: Saigon – Departure (Breakfast)|
Breakfast at hotel. At leisure for your own shopping until check-out (half-day using room at hotel until 18.00pm check-out), then transfer to the airport for departure flight. Home sweet home. End of services.
